  • Introduction

    It is undeniable fact that Agriculture is the back bone of any society that provides means of sustenance and development. When it comes to developing nations specially it comes inevitable agenda of development. This is true because majority of population in developing countries rely on agricultural sectors for their livelihoods. In account of this fact, over recent years there has been great consideration that enhancing agricultural sectors will have an imminent contribution in changing the livelihood of rural communities in specific and wider nation in general. This will in turn contribute its share in maintaining sustainable development.
    Hence this special issue will assist in providing a platform to share experience and knowledge over agricultural issues and thereby promote a step towards agricultural enhancement.

    1. Development and promotion of animal production and product
    2. Improving Pastoral and agro-pastoral animal production and productivity
    3. Animal genetic improvement, conservation and management
    4. Animal feeding and nutrition
    5. Animal product processing, handling and marketing chain analysis
    6. Crop production and productivity
    7. Plant diseases, Insect, pests, weeds and their management
    8. Post-harvest processing, handling and market chain analysis
    9. Agricultural innovation, information and communication system
    10. Technology demonstration, transfer and adaptation
    11. Livelihood diversification and poverty reduction
    12. Vulnerability and Risk aversion
    13. Improving traditional practices and norms
    14. Rural and urban linkage

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.agricultureforestry.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
